MakeMyBlinds is an online blinds retailer, headquarted in Avonmouth, United Kingdom. Established in 2016, the idea for a customer-focused, eCommerce blinds business was one born out of frustration - specifically, a frustrating summer Sunday afternoon trying to buy blinds. After waiting in all afternoon for someone to come round with a book of samples, measure and price up a couple of windows, we decided to 'go online' and see what we could find instead - all we were faced with were hard to use and less than user-friendly websites. We believe that the emergence of eCommerce should not simply be seen as another sales channel, but a means of connecting with our customer on a far more personal level. We want to be the driving force behind improving and changing the blinds industry from an outdated, ‘stuck-in-their-ways’ industry, to modern & forward thinking; with a real focus on fulfilling the customer’s needs.
