We teach sewing and creative textile workshops to adults and children in Lewisham. We aim to offer workshops that are as inclusive and accessible, and as environmentally and socially beneficial as possible. We reconnect our students with the process of how clothes are made and show how they can be updated, mended and cherished for longer. As well as using the power of creativity to empower, foster a sense of belonging, build communities and make people feel good. We teach weekly sewing classes for adults and children, beginner and intermediate courses as well working on a whole host of community projects, including working with isolated and vulnerable adults. We have partnered on projects with Lewisham based youth centre Youth First, housing associations Lewisham Homes and Phoenix Community Housing, homeless charity The 999 Club amongst many others.
