Mainblades Information

When an aircraft gets hit by a bird strike, hail, someone has to inspect it before it flies again. Traditionally that means scaffolding, inspection teams working through the night, and the aircraft sitting idle for up to 36 hours. We've built a better way. Mainblades deploys automatic drone-based inspection systems that fly around aircraft, capture high-resolution imagery across the full airframe, and feed it into ML models that detect structural defects, in under three hours. The concept is proven. We're now in the scaling phase: more aircraft types, more airports, more demanding operating conditions. That means hard engineering problems across the full stack; drone hardware, flight software, mobile apps for ground crews, and the review interfaces that maintenance engineers use to make airworthiness decisions.
