Magnetic Motion is a Canadian deep tech company with a mission to enable greener, safer flying experience. We are introducing AI-powered hybrid-electric propulsion technology as a drop-in retrofit for legacy engines across 200,000+ light aircraft and long-endurance UAVs. Our team brings 70+ years of combined aerospace experience across propulsion, certification, manufacturing, MRO, and venture development. We are developing hybrid-electric technology that makes today’s aircraft cleaner and more affordable by upgrading the planes already flying, rather than waiting decades for fully electric replacements. Our engines run on widely available, lead-free automotive fuel and are designed as straightforward retrofits with a faster payback for fleet operators. For a Cessna 172S flying 1,000 hours per year, that can mean about 30 tons less CO₂ annually and the elimination of leaded avgas emissions. Our vision is to pioneer clean aviation the way the Toyota Prius transformed the automotive industry.
