Nuestro objetivo como startup es convertirnos en la empresa pionera en comercializar productos elaborados a partir de la fruta tropical "miracle berry" en la UE. Para conseguir dicha meta, tendremos que aplicar ante la EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) presentando un dossier que nos permita obtener el status de Novel Food, regulando así su consumo humano y puesta en el mercado. El proyecto SweetHealth ha sido diseñado con la misión de mejorar la calidad de vida de muchas personas que sufren problemas de salud tales como la diabetes, obesidad y ciertas alteraciones de sabor como consecuencia de intoxicaciones farmacológicas. Se creará una marca específica para este sector, con productos especialmente adaptados a estas personas. MagicBerrys es la marca bajo la cual se comercializarán los productos enfocados a los sectores ocio, y HORECA. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The startup's main goal is to become the pioneer company to market miracle berry based products in the EU. In this sense, we will be applying for approval in the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) in order to obtain the novel food status for this plant, thus, regulating its consumption and marketing it throughout the EU. The SweetHealth Project has been designed with one mission: improving the quality of life of many people suffering from very different health issues such as diabetes, obesity and taste alterations due to chemotherapy treatments. A different brand brand shall be created for this sector, with products especially adapted for those customers. MagicBerrys is the brand with which miracle fruit products will be marketed. It will mainly target the leisure and food&beverage sectors.
