Surfriders Academy surf school in Huntington Beach is owned and operated by long-time experienced surfer Marcus Barrera and a Red Cross certified lifeguard, along with National Surf Schools & Instructors Association (NSSIA International) credentials. We teach surf lessons all year round and provide all the best surfboards to learn on, and wetsuits to keep you warm. We are legally insured for your safety. Growing up watching Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon Gidget just seeing Moon Doogie and Tube Steak surfing, he knew thats what he wanted to do! He started surfing at 12 years old with the older guys on the block.
