MechAero Foundation for Technical Research and Educcation Excellence (MAFTREE) is a Chennai (Madras, India) based non-profit section 25 private company limited by guarantee (regd. 2009). MAFTREE was previously functioned as a Trust under Indian society act in the name of MechAero Group since 2004. Our vision is to be a global leader in promoting the advancement of mechanical, aerospace and its related engineering and science by supporting education, research alliance, outreach and publications projects. MAFTREE’s key missions are: • Education: Advancement of technical and professional education & training related to mechanical, aerospace, automotive, transport and its related engineering & science. Providing scholarships to students for education, training and career search in these fields. • Research Alliance: Enact national & international research cooperation and encourage worldwide experts to share, disseminate and transfer their knowledge through publication of research Journals, books, conference proceedings and best practice manuals. To encourage research related to sustainable transport, carbon neutral challenge and greener environment in transport engineering. Support research internships and year-in-industry awards to foster link between academia and industry. • Outreach: To widespread the awareness about institutions and industries related to mechanical, aerospace, automotive and its related engineering through souvenirs, campaigns and workshops.
