Mafi natural wood floors are hand-crafted in Austria. Each floor features a unique construction ensuring no cupping or warping, and a hard wearing surface ideal for both commercial and residential applications. Mafi floors feature and all-natural oil finish and deliberately disassociates itself from varnish and the plastification of wood. This ensures the timber can breathe and in turn filters the air promoting improved indoor air quality and a healthy room atmosphere. Unlike many other timber floors on the market, there are no chemicals used ensuring NO VOCs. Mafi is known world wide for its commitment to innovation. Mafi’s product Carving Club I was recently awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award 2012 for Product Design: Best of the Best. Other unique product innovations include the Mafi Tiger Oak, Fresco and Domino ranges. At the core of the Mafi philosophy is the commitment to sustainability and always using the whole tree. Mafi only sources trees from managed forests and FSC certification is available. Timber waste such as offcuts and sawdust are even recycled to produce pellets, which then power the whole factory.
