Ottolenghi began in a small shop in Notting Hill, London in 2002. Chefs Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi were at the helm, creating a unique deli, restaurant, and bakery setting, which soon became a clear reflection of our obsessive relationship with food. With a commitment to the championing of vegetables, well-sourced produce, and unusual ingredients, Ottolenghi has become known internationally for food which is full of colour, flavour, bounty, and sunshine. Now a proud family of delis and restaurants, we have four Ottolenghi delis in Notting Hill, Islington, Chelsea, and Marylebone, as well as three restaurants - Ottolenghi Spitalfields, NOPI & ROVI. In all our locations you’ll find vibrant food, low intervention wines, and warm hospitality. Since 2002, the Ottolenghi family has slowly expanded and our scope has grown, but so much, crucially, has remained the same. The people behind our food are a dedicated and enthusiastic team who make Ottolenghi what it is today as we continue to nurture meaningful relationships with our local communities, welcome international guests with excitement, and enjoy sharing beautiful food. Simply put, we are serious about making people happy through our food.

In 2019 PAUL is celebrating its 130 year anniversary, arriving at this impressive milestone via five generations dedicated to creating great-tasting bread. It’s a remarkable story of one family whose belief in traditional, labour intensive baking methods and insistence on top quality ingredients have created the largest bakery in France today, and taken the PAUL name to 28 other countries. PAUL has always been a community bakery, bringing the authentic taste of real French baking to its local customers. Whether they meet at cafes to chat with friends over a coffee and a pastry, or take food home to enjoy with friends, PAUL is dedicated to sharing its passion for food with customers all over the world. The recipes for bread, viennoiserie and patisserie have been handed down through the family for over one hundred years. The bakers are true artisans, with years of training. PAUL UK opened in London in 2000 with its flagship shop and restaurant in Covent Garden. There are now a total of 37 shops in the UK, primarily Central London locations. Expansion plans are undergoing. This expansion will provide great opportunities for more people to join the business and to develop a career as the company grows. Today PAUL has more than 500 stores operating in 29 countries, including France, Holland, Japan, Kuwait and the USA. It is still owned by the founding Holder family.

When The Hummingbird Bakery brought American-style cupcakes to Portobello Road, London, back in 2004, we had curious customers queuing round the block to get a taste. With six bakeries across London and two international branches in Dubai, four bestselling cookbooks and a celebrity following, we’re well on the way to achieving our mission of bringing the authentic taste of American cakes and desserts to the world. We can also bring it direct to your office or event. Our bespoke whole cakes, cupcakes or mini cupcakes are made-to-order, with frosting and added flourishes that fit perfectly with your brand or colour scheme (hey, if we can colour-match a Heinz Baked Bean can, we can colour-match anything).
