Madelon van Vredendaal is a Dutch photographer/director based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She makes a varation of work from an intersectional feminist perspective. She makes her world of experience come to life through her photographs and her well-thought choices of color, her models, the styling of her models, their surroundings, and the editing of her photographs. Keywords for her work are femininity, melancholy, activism, joy, vulnerability, boldness, and beauty. Madelon uses photography as a tool to bring out her ideals to the world in a joyful way. That’s why she calls herself a pleasure activist: a feel-good approach to changing the world. Madelon gives a stage to people who need that and empowers them with her way of portraying them. She makes remarkable visuals with her main goal to make people feel, to change their world perspective and to connect with people and connect people with eachother.
