MacroVation Information

MacroVation is an advanced manufacturing and materials company building defense and dual-use systems where the material is the differentiator and the system is the product. We design, formulate, and produce engineered materials — foams, composites, ceramics, RF substrates, and precision components — and integrate them into mission-ready hardware. We work from molecule-level chemistry through tooling, process, and finished assembly so the same team owns the science and the production line. Three pathways: 1. Federally funded development. We run technology development programs for U.S. defense customers across the Navy, Marine Corps, and Office of Naval Research. Programs span counter-UAS materials, submarine tooling, anti-fatigue and human-performance systems, and small unmanned platforms. We move work from formulation to field-relevant prototypes inside the funded period. 2. Direct commercial and industrial. Our laboratory materials design, characterization, and small-lot manufacturing capabilities are available to commercial customers building precision products — medical, semiconductor, aerospace, energy. Same chemistry team, same equipment, same precision standards. 3. Dual-use product lines. Selected internal programs graduate into productized offerings. Battlefield-validated materials and processes become commercial-grade products for industrial users who need defense-level reliability. Capabilities: materials formulation and synthesis (polymers, foams, ceramics, composites); precision characterization (rheology, mechanical, thermal, RF); process development and small-lot production; integrated test and inspection workflows; CMMC-track facility and trusted supply-chain practices.
