Mackay Turf Club Information

The Mackay Turf Club (MTC) is one of Queensland's leading Thoroughbred racing clubs, conducting over 20 mid-week races and eight feature race days throughout the year. The MTC's mission is to grow and develop horse racing in North Queensland Queensland to an exceptional standard while also providing premium entertainment and event experiences which increases attendance. The Club operates the Ooralea Race Course, which has just undergone a $7.4 million upgrade to the track and facilities to position the track as one of Australia's premier racing facilities. The course is home to a state-of-the-art Event Centre, beautifully refurbished function facilities, a world-class Strathayr race track and numerous unrivalled hospitality options.
