MACH is Toronto Metropolitan University’s student liquid rocketry team, dedicated to designing, building, and testing bipropellant rocket engines while training the next generation of aerospace engineers. In 2025, we successfully competed in the Launch Canada Challenge with our SPRINT engine, a modular ethanol–nitrous oxide system capable of active thrust variation, and conducted a live hot-fire demonstration at the competition. Over the course of the year, we completed three hot-fires, collecting critical performance and safety data that lay the foundation for our first flight-weight propulsion system in 2026.
