Gisborne Secondary College is an integral part of the Macedon Ranges Community, providing a safe, stimulating and future focused learning environment for years 7 to 12.

Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones for 2020 onwards. Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address. The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations. Wandong Primary School currently has capacity to take children who live outside of our designated zone. This is dependent on the childs current grade level and the families permanent residential address. The information packs have a set of enrolment forms in them and we are urging families to forward their enrolment forms as soon as possible once they have made a decision. All schools are now zoned and we are looking at running some transition sessions earlier rather than later this year. Its important that our children in 2022 feel connected and have a strong transition plan. It will also ensure that once we reach capacity that our local families and early enrolments do not miss out on a place.

The rural community of Tallarook, 90 km north of Melbourne on the Hume Highway, is justifiably proud of the primary education provided to students from local and surrounding districts. The Tallarook Primary School is a picturesque school nestled at the foot of the Tallarook Ranges. The School enrolment is anticipated to remain at around 90 for the next couple of years. Some students live in the town but the majority travel in from surrounding rural areas and neighbouring towns. Our community is small but active.
