Mobility and Accessibility for Children and Adults Ltd (MACA) is a national organisation advancing safe and equitable transport for people with disability and medical conditions. MACA delivers research, training, and evidence-based information and resources to support best practice across clinical, funding, and regulatory systems. Through MACA, the Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) provides independent crash testing and assessment of specialty vehicle restraints—filling a critical evidence gap and informing product design and supply, policy, regulation, funding decisions, and clinical practice. MACA works across sectors to improve safety, access, and system consistency, with a focus on translating evidence into practical outcomes.
