MAAWS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit and NGO based in the US and Bangladesh. Our project area is in the village of Earpur in Noakhali, Bangladesh. We have programming in health, water and women's empowerment including the MAAWS Health Complex an outpatient clinic started in 2012, the Pure Drinking and Sanitation Project and the Sewing Training Program. We also work within the Bangladeshi immigrant community in the New York Tri State Area doing work in: -Community Outreach -Medical and social service referrals -Health Education on cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes etc -Counseling To learn more about ways you can help, please email us at info [at] maaws.org
