Ma'ase Center Association, operating since 2004, is a subsidiary of the Rashi Foundation. Ma'ase Center's goal is to promote socio-economic mobility and develop leadership among young adults from Israel's periphery, through engaging them in volunteering and follow-up programs. Every year, Ma'ase recruits hundreds of 18-21 year-old volunteers, who come from the various groups that compose the Israeli society. In turn, those volunteers reach out to some 11,000 children and youth in some 60 communities across Israel, serving as identifiable and inspiring role-models to them.
