Maalexi operates an agri-trade fintech platform combining physical commodity verification with digital trade execution and capital. To date, it has delivered of millions of kilograms of agrifood commodities, supported by thousands of blockchain-based smart contracts, and enabled hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses to access fair prices, world-class logistics, trade capital and advanced risk management capabilities once beyond their reach. Global agricultural trade exceeds US$2 trillion annually, yet much of the physical trade remains fragmented, with limited access to organised exchange infrastructure, transparent price discovery and standardised asset verification. These inefficiencies constrain market participation, trust and access to capital. Maalexi has first built the physical verification and trade execution layer. Now we're building the exchange to scale it globally. The Maalexi Agricultural Asset Token Exchange (MAATEX) is our next-generation agricultural commodity exchange initiative, designed to connect verified real-world agricultural assets with digital markets and capital (traditional trade and on-chain finance). Powered by proprietary data intelligence and AI, integrated with IoT and blockchain technologies, MAATEX will bring physical commodity trading onto digital rails—combining verified inventory, transparent price discovery, secure trade execution and access to capital. Each asset will be backed by physical inspection, verified quality and ownership documentation, and end-to-end digital traceability—giving buyers confidence in what they trade and financiers clear visibility into the real commodities underlying every transaction.
