M3Nephron is a medical device venture developing a new generation of dialyzers based on proprietary Mixed Matrix Membrane (MMM) technology. Our mission is to improve outcomes for nephrologists, dialysis nurses, and patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) by addressing the fundamental limitations of current hemodialysis therapies. Existing dialysis technologies often provide suboptimal toxin removal, require significant water and resource consumption, and contribute to a substantial environmental footprint. In contrast, M3Nephron's innovative MMM platform integrates both diffusion and adsorption mechanisms within a single membrane, enabling superior toxin clearance while reducing dialysate requirements and supporting device miniaturization. The technology is designed to support the development of wearable artificial kidney (WAK) systems, paving the way for more personalized and patient-friendly renal replacement therapies.
