One of the coast's largest independent wholesale suppliers of premium branded goods, M Electrical has lots to celebrate, for 30 years' service to the electrical industry. In 1987, M Electrical was started by Trish and Graham Mcgill in Umtentweni. The small company soon became respected and well known for its efficient and friendly service. The business rapidly outgrew its premises and relocated to Rathboneville. In 1994, it again needed new premises and relocated to Port Shepstone. In 2001, the business was bought by Gert Stoltz and is now run by Gert and his son Johan. Growing from strength to strength, another branch was opened in Margate, soon after a branch in Kokstad, and in March 2017 opened a branch in Durban. M Electrical supplies to leading property developers, electrical and building contractors, municipalities, industrial factories, retail outlets and the general public. The company has customers from Amanzimtoti to Port Edward, Eastern Cape and as far inland as Matatiale and as far as Richards Bay in the North. The growing demand required a new branch to be opened in Kokstad as well as a branch in Durban, and expanding to Umtata, Richards Bay, Johannesburg and Cape Town in the near future.
