His grandfather was a building contractor in Lake County, Florida. Ed framed houses and became a trim carpenter in the industry. However, his greatest love was cabinetry. Ed began as a hobbyist building custom cabinetry and furniture pieces for family and friends. When he started his business, his philosophy was simple - give people more than they expect in quality and value. That same simple concept is embraced by his staff. Today, the companies that produce M & E Fairview products are hand selected for their principles, workmanship, warranties and "green attitudes".
