Welcome to The Lyceum, a co-educational private school located in the heart of the City of London, just moments from Shoreditch, Old Street, Liverpool Street and Moorgate. We are a hidden gem among London’s independent schools, combining academic ambition with a strong commitment to nurturing confident, kind and curious young learners. The school is conveniently located and easily accessible for families living in surrounding areas such as Hackney, Islington, Tower Hamlets, Camden, Southwark, Newham and more. Our school offers a broad and creative curriculum designed to uncover the unique talents of every child. With expert teachers, small class sizes and a dynamic approach to learning, we inspire a lifelong love of knowledge across academic subjects, the arts and STEAM. Our cross-curricular teaching approach ensures that learning is meaningful, memorable and engaging. The Lyceum is housed in a beautiful five-storey building with purpose-built facilities including a specialist Art room, Science lab, STEAM studio, library, dining room and on-site outdoor playground. These spaces support a rich and stimulating environment where children can thrive both academically and personally. We regularly welcome prospective families at our open days and private tours, offering the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet our staff, and experience the warmth of our school community.
