Lutz Real Estate Investments (“LREI”) is a fully integrated real estate organization with a history that spans for more than fifty years. Throughout its history, the firm has positioned itself to profit despite the cyclical nature of real estate by investing in diverse property types and geographic locations. LREI set an acquisition goal of acquiring 1,000 beds per year, over the next five years. LREI targets somewhat older properties that are within walking distance to campus, at universities with at least 10,000 students and a favorable number of university controlled beds.
