Lurid X Information

Lurid X delivers inspection-grade aerial data to mining, construction, and industrial operations across the Southwestern US. We fly RTK-precision drone missions and turn them into decisions you can act on: stockpile volumes, orthomosaic site maps, 3D terrain models, digital elevation models, and close-range inspection imagery of conveyors, tanks, structures, slopes, roofs, and haul roads. WHAT WE DELIVER • Aerial Mapping & Photogrammetry — orthomosaics, 3D terrain models, contour and elevation data • Stockpile & Volumetric Reporting — material volume, mass, and dollar valuation from a single flight • Infrastructure Inspection — conveyors, tanks, structures, slopes, roofs, access roads • Construction Progress Documentation — verified records for contractors, owners, and stakeholders • Mining Support — pit progression, stockpile monitoring, haul-road visualization, reclamation tracking ACCURACY Every mission is RTK flown, and RTK-flown stockpile volumes are typically within ±2%. When the job requires it, we set and survey ground control points, which brings accuracy to within 2 cm. Photogrammetric deliverables, referenced to control — not a licensed survey. WHY OPERATIONS HIRE US Lurid X was built by someone who worked in mining operations before flying over them. That background — workforce development, safety systems, planning, and industrial environments — means we arrive understanding site protocol, hazard awareness, and how your day actually runs. We collect what you need without shutting down production. • FAA Part 107 Certified • $2M liability insurance • 500+ flight hours • 0 safety incidents • Deliverables typically in hand within 48 hours SERVICE AREA Headquartered in Safford, Arizona.
