Luna2 designs, manages and operates the growing number of Luna2 hotels & studiotels in key hot-spots around the world. Luna2 raises the benchmark for visionary design, super-star services and stellar standards of wining & dining, lounging & sleeping. Originating in Bali, Luna2 private hotel opened in 2007, beachfront in Seminyak. In April 2013, neighbouring Luna2 studiotel was opened. Uniquely known as a ‘studiotel’, Conde Nast Traveller remarked in March 2013 that it “resembles what a ‘hotel of the future’ may have looked like in the 1960’s." Named after the first spacecraft to land on the moon in the late 50’s, Luna2’s “cosmic spaces for jet-setting Lunatics” continue to expand, with future sites in concept design for: Phuket Thailand (Luna2 studiotel & beach club), Niseko Japan (Luna2 studiotel), Lombok Indonesia (Luna2 resort). Further sites in Europe and the Caribbean are being sought. Founder & designer Melanie Hall’s design ethos is to “respect the past, welcome the future and have fun in the process!” These elements of nostalgia, futurism and fun permeate throughout every aspect of Luna2, from architectural design, to interior and furniture design, to the cosmic levels of service, right down to the music and not least, to Lunafood & bar.
