We develop and sell a WEB based platform, called lumos!, specific for clinical research studies, which enables a holistic approach for the development and coordination of eCRF (electronic Case Reported Forms) projects, and the collaboration among the stakeholders. lumos! enables teams of researchers, healthcare professionals, the academia, clinical research organisations, contract research organization, medical devices producers, operators working in cosmetics and nutraceutical, other institutes that promote health, to create CRFs, set up multicentric studies with a specific methodology and collect data from samples online. The platform has tools for the management of subjects participating in multiple studies, the creation of reports for data entry monitoring and the data export for external analysis. lumos! implements data consistency and validation, data encryption and security (according to EU laws), user profiling that assure different accessing data policies, queries and workflow based system for CRF submission process monitoring. Finally, since we strongly believe in the collaboration among all the partecipants to a research, lumos! allows researchers to set up ePRO (patient reported outcomes) studies, allowing better subjects involvement on the clinical research. This makes our platform to be used also by patient associations (and public health institutes) to carry out their own surveys while raising awareness on health issues and conditions.
