LUDOCARE is a French digital health company on a mission: to prevent complications from pediatric asthma as early as possible. In France, asthma affects 1 in 10 children, causes over 42,000 hospitalizations each year, and remains the leading cause of school absenteeism. Yet, up to 75% of these hospitalizations could be avoided with better adherence to treatment and properly mastered inhalation techniques. This is the therapeutic purpose of JOE, our CE-marked Digital Medical Device, specifically designed to improve asthma control in children and prescribed by healthcare professionals. JOE supports children in adopting correct inhalation techniques, strengthens treatment adherence, and facilitates both parental and clinical monitoring through a dedicated mobile app. Its clinical efficacy has been demonstrated in children aged 7 to 11 in a multicenter study conducted across 17 hospitals and clinics in France. Founded in Lyon in 2017, LUDOCARE operates at the intersection of three major public health priorities: prevention, healthcare efficiency, and health sovereignty. Recognized by iLab, iNov, and Big Booster, LUDOCARE is establishing itself as a key player in pediatric therapeutic innovation in France. Our ambition: to empower children to take an active role in managing their chronic condition, improve their quality of life, and contribute to a more preventive, efficient, and inclusive model of care.
