Lucas Interior Information

Lucas is an award-winning design studio focused on custom interiors that honor and elevate the art of everyday life. Founded by David, Suzie and Rachel Lucas—a trio of New York-native siblings and collaborators now based in the Pacific Northwest—their work brings fresh insight to the timeless sanctuary of home. With more than a decade of cooperative practice in architecture and interiors, the Lucas family creates clean, modern spaces and hand-crafted furniture that integrate beautifully with their surroundings and enrich the lives of those who use them. Balancing overall elegance with moments of ease, they merge formal design principles with the creativity and spontaneity of custom work. They partner with architects and artisans around the world to produce places of arrival and renewal, perfectly suited to the lives within. As expert guides through the design and construction process, Lucas deftly handles projects of any scale—planning intensely while embracing unique and unexpected moments with an open mind. The process is finely attuned to the creation of personal sanctuaries, uniquely centered on the ways people live and work, entertain and unwind.
