Lu Ming Tang is on a mission to boost skin’s health and radiant youthfulness. Lu Ming Tang was created by French founder Marie Amiand, who discovered the profound detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and healing properties of Medicinal Teas, after an intoxication with heavy metals. We source our teas from the enchanting mountain gardens of Yunnan, Fuding, Anxi and Longjing. Our precious, fresh leaves are hand-harvested by ethnic minority Women, such as the Bulang, Hani and Yi. They are the soul of Lu Ming Tang and we take very much to heart to support these Women, help them preserve their ancestral culture and tea traditions, as well as protect the magnificent nature surrounding them. As a tribute to the heritage of Tea, Marie restored a thousand-year-old Imperial Temple-House in the UNESCO-protected tea mountains of the Dragon Well. It is there that Emperor Qianlong wrote his poems and calligraphies celebrating the spirit of Tea. After having welcomed visitors as La Maison Lu Ming Tang for years, the temple house has been proudly transmitted to the Village Representatives for a new chapter in its proud history.
