Through our trading subsidiary, Soil Association Certification, we work with over 6,000 businesses – including farmers, growers, foresters, caterers, food processors and manufacturers. The way these businesses operate achieves real change in the world – they farm without chemicals, make and serve healthier food, and educate their customers.

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a leading global organisation, which provides health, safety and environmental qualifications. Our internationally recognised qualifications help to raise the competence of safety and environmental professionals as well as individuals at all levels in the workplace. NEBOSH qualifications are highly respected by governments, employers and our learners. Tens of thousands of people from more than 150 countries study for a NEBOSH qualification every year, learning with our network of accredited Learning Partners. More than 10,000 Diploma and Masters holders have become members of the NEBOSH Alumni.

Established in 1995 by its founder Mike Shields, SHEilds concentrated on offering a quality local Health and Safety consultancy service, developing solutions for the local commerce. In December 2002 SHEilds became incorporated in the UK and has grown into one of the largest NEBOSH health and safety training providers globally.
