Los Angeles Waves Netball Club Information

The Los Angeles Waves Netball club is dedicated to promoting participation in netball in Los Angeles. The Waves is a proud member of Netball America and a supporter of other Netball America affiliated clubs. Founded in 2002, the Waves is one of the largest and most established netball clubs on the West Coast. We offer social and competitive netball for women, men and kids of all ages. Our women’s teams have been a dominant force in US Netball. Our teams won the California Netball Association title in 2003 and 2004, the open division at the US National Netball Championships in 2005, the Hawaiian Invitational Championship in 2008 and have been strong contenders in the Pacific Coast National League (PCNL) and Netball America National Championships. Well done Waves! The club continues to offer opportunities for players to travel and compete at netball tournaments all over the USA. We also have players who prefer to stay local and just have a “run around”. The Waves offers social players the chance to get fit, improve their netball skills and make new friends. The Waves offers coaching for budding Umpires. We encourage our players to “have a go” at umpiring, so that players improve their knowledge of the game and the club has a pool of accredited umpires. The Waves is a proud member of the Los Angeles community. Waves gives back by partnering with Netball America to offer kids coaching clinics, participate in community health fairs and showcase netball at parks, schools and PE teacher conferences. Netball is a huge phenomenon internationally (20 million players can’t be wrong!). Our aim is to bring that same enthusiasm for netball to Los Angeles. Come join us!
