Lori Day Consulting Information

When I was a child, I hated to miss school. In fact, as a high school senior, I realized I never wanted to leave school, and I found a way to stay in school for the next thirty-five years. I subbed my way through grad school and then became an educational psychologist, working in many public schools in both Virginia and Massachusetts. In 1998, an opportunity to join the undergraduate admissions committee at MIT drew me into the world of admissions, and following three years at MIT, I became the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at The Fenn School in Concord, MA. I loved working in an independent school, having attended several of them, all wonderful, during my childhood in Atlanta. I felt like Id come home again. After seven years at Fenn, I became the Head of School at Odyssey Day School, a small, innovative PS Grade 8 independent school in Wakefield, MA. Now, almost 40 years after deciding I would never leave school, I am actually enjoying working with schools, as well as students and parents! Lori Day Consulting is my way of taking everything I like to do and combining all of those interests into one self-created job. If I can help you with any appropriate projects, its your day.
