Loopa Logic was founded in 2024 by an operator who had spent almost a decade running a high-volume clinical research site across a broad range of sponsors and therapeutic areas. From that vantage point one problem was unavoidable: in multicenter trials, quality and compliance gaps surface late, after months of work are already at risk and patient safety can be affected. Through 2024 the founding team spent hundreds of hours mapping those gaps from every side of the trial ecosystem, site networks, CROs, sponsors, and the FDA, to learn where oversight actually breaks down rather than where it is assumed to hold. The name reflects that focus. From the Spanish lupa, "magnifying glass," it stands for an obsessive attention to detail, because in clinical research small errors carry outsized consequences. That work became Loopa: an AI-native compliance service that reads trial source data as sites produce it and surfaces compliance and data-integrity findings within hours, with a human reviewer validating every finding before it reaches a sponsor or CRO.
