In 2020, the outside world came inside and Long Distance was born. - Long Distance came out of COVID co-founded by two friends as a way to document what running looked like when the world shut down. What started as a collection of stories and photographs has since grown into something much bigger. Today, Long Distance operates as both an independent publishing platform and a creative + strategic studio. Since launching, we’ve published three zines (2020, 2021, 2023, 2024) working with brands, writers, photographers, and runners to tell stories that don’t feel manufactured. Everything Long Distance has built comes from real relationships - elite athletes, community leaders, crews, and creatives across different cities. That’s what’s shaped Long Distance into a real voice in the global running scene - we’re in it, not on the outside trying to activate. Through community-led programming, storytelling, activations and product, we create experiences that feel honest, lived-in, and built to resonate beyond the moment.
