Lone Wolf Administration Information

Wolf Watch UK is committed to helping promote and educate in both aspects of wolf conservation and the ecology of the natural environment. We welcome contact from educational establishments that would possibly like to make use of our facility and to develop an understanding around the wolf and associated environmental issues. Previously we have worked alongside local collages helping animal management students with their coursework. We have also hosted several successful wolf behaviour days that have allowed visitors to observe and interact with our pack. This is an aspect that we wish to build upon in the future and welcome any enquires from educational departments or organisations. Currently we are in the process of developing an all weather viewing area, that will be suitable for both classwork and observational studies. Wolf Watch UK is committed to promoting the conservation and understanding of not only Wolves but also threatened species and habitats. We welcome enquiries from students and professional researchers who wish to carry out Non-invasive research that will have a positive impact on the living world. The proposal will be considered with respect to the Wolf Watch UK's ethical guidelines on research, the practical implications for staff and the scientific soundness of the proposal. The student/researcher will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible but students should note that decisions may take up 8 weeks so applications must be made as far in advance as possible.
