So while you are wearing a beautiful fun piece you are also getting connected to a different culture and place. *** LokalWear was born out of the desire to combine culture and fashion, to be able to discover new places and people through beautiful original products while giving back to the local community. It's a love story between a Brazilian designer and entrepreneur and Hungary's rich folk art. Bruna Seve Patko founded the brand in late 2010 in Budapest combining her Brazilian roots and love for accessories and colors with Hungary's unknown folk art. Moving back to her native Rio de Janeiro in mid 2013 and looking into Brazil’s natural resources and social challenges the LokalWear innovation journey continued, this time transforming natural and recycled materials into unexpected contemporary jewellery. A fashion brand which has a strong cultural heritage and sustainable production focus in its core.
