We are an R&D company based in Istanbul. Founded by passionate scientists, entrepreneurs and designers, Lojika Field Labs is creating a new way for how cars, people, smart phones, and IoT devices move in urban environment. This is a new IoT media that turns the risks of living in big cities into social capital: personally designed experiences that give freedom, worth, collective happiness and safety. People, streets and cities are our laboratory where we conduct field experiments to blend sociology with innovation, production and marketing through crowdsource methods. We have operations in London and Istanbul. Istanbul is crowded with 18 million people and weak by means of public infrastructure. The city has natural and man made extreme events with the highest frequency. This high frequency means we can iterate our solutions and conduct tests on live disruptions. Our pilots show that residents of Istanbul are eager to turn the daily problems of commute and life in a mega city into a new medium for safety and social connectivity. This tech savvy young population is in the global top 5 users of Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, and Foursquare. All these factors make Istanbul a perfect place for Lojika to develop and test its novel approach to resilience related applications.
