LogiHire Information

LogiHire is Australia's specialist recruitment agency for freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, transport, customs and maritime. We were founded in Sydney in 2023 by Sam Smeaton and Fhiona Smeaton. We started LogiHire because freight, logistics and supply chain businesses were being underserved by generalist agencies that didn't know the industry well enough to find, assess and place the right people. We recruit permanent roles from entry level to executive. That includes Business Development Managers, Customs Brokers, Import/Export Coordinators, Operations Managers, Customer Service, Branch Managers and General Managers, as well as Supply Chain Managers, Supply Chain Analysts, Inventory and Demand Planners, and Procurement. We place across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. 92% of our placements are sourced off-market. The best people are already employed and being actively retained by your competitors. We reach them because they come to us first, built on over 1.26 million organic LinkedIn impressions and a decade of industry relationships. Our average placement time is 16 days and our Google rating is 5.0. We're members of the Freight & Trade Alliance and host The Forward Thinking Podcast, Australia's leading freight, logistics and supply chain podcast, hosted by Co-Founder Sam Smeaton. There are three ways to work with us: Contingent (no upfront cost, pay on placement), Subscription (an always-on partnership with significant savings) and Retained Search (guaranteed delivery for your most critical hires). Whether you're building your freight or supply chain team, or you're a logistics professional ready for your next move, we know your industry inside out.
