Logics Research Centre Information

Logics Research Centre is a Latvian research and development company working in computer science, with a focus on programming languages, formal methods, symbolic computation, and educational technology. Our main project is KatLang, a programming language designed to make mathematical calculations and algorithmic ideas easier to express, understand, and share. KatLang combines programming-language research with practical tools for education, experimentation, and real-world problem solving. Our work includes applied research, software development, scientific publications, patented innovation, and EU-funded research activities. We aim to turn rigorous ideas from logic and computer science into accessible technologies with practical and commercial potential. We also support knowledge exchange and regional innovation, including outreach to communities in Latgale and across Latvia.
