RoGallery is a unique force in the art world. We have been an art gallery, dealer, and auction house of over 35 years located in the vibrant Queens neighborhood of Long Island City in NYC. In this time, RoGallery has established its place in the New York City art world as a trustworthy and reputable source of modern and contemporary artworks. The gallery was founded in the early 1980's by Robert and Gail Rogal, who would become an art world power couple. They established themselves initially as limited edition print dealers by buying out the entire inventories of several major art publishing companies. Over the years their keen eye for superb artworks has expanded the collection to include thousands of original paintings, photographs and sculptures. The passion for collecting is still going strong today as we grow the RoGallery collection through purchases and quality consignments. Customers that are within driving distance or visiting New York City are encouraged to visit us at our 10,000 square foot gallery showroom. The gallery is by appointment only. Hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm ET. Please let us know in advance of your visit what artworks you would like to see. Most items are onsite, but some need to be transferred to our location for viewing.

Lawrence Mroczek is the founding partner of Mroczek Brothers Auctioneers & Associates also known as MBA Seattle Auction House. He grew up in the auction business started by his parents in 1966 and has been a licensed auctioneer since 1967. At the age of 26 Larry co-founded MBA Auctions in 1977 and has been running it ever since. Lawrence always had a passion for fine objects and artworks beginning his focus on traditional northwest art. The link between Alaska and the Northwest first interested him collecting Indian artifacts and paintings by Sydney Laurence and Eustace Ziegler. He has since opened his palette to modernism and the entire northwest school focusing on "The Mystics" including Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, Kenneth Callahan, and Guy Anderson among others. Michael Lawrence Mroczek specializes in Northwest Modern Art, including paintings and sculptures from 1930 to present, as well as American studio ceramics and glass. Michael was born into the auction business, with his father, Lawrence Mroczek, leading the family-run company. At the age of 8, Michael began helping his father at the companys estate auctions. Years of exposure to the auction business, antiques, art, and rarities not only confirmed Michaels interest in becoming an auctioneer, but also prompted him to attend the University of Washington, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. During his time at UW, Michael discovered his passionas well as his aptitudefor modern art. In 2005, after graduating from college and becoming a licensed auctioneer, Michael was finally able to use both his extensive experience working with the family business and his breadth of knowledge from college as an auctioneer at MBA. His experience and education has allowed him to recognize quality in all genres of antiques and collectibles.
