It has been a long road of manufacturing, both on US soil and in China for almost twenty years (think Flextronics to Foxxcon) in the intelligent storage space. Though we have never targeted IPO opportunities, we have been successful at mixing RSUs / straight cash buys for our companies. However, most recently we have been selling IP opportunities only, not entire startup companies. We develop prototypes and leave it up to the 'Partner' to mass produce or terminate the acquired IP.
