Bourbon Barrel Foods is a maker of gourmet food products that reflect the rich heritage of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country. Our philosophy is to make quality gourmet sauces and seasonings by adhering to a three-word philosophy: slow, small, simple. From the farmer in southern Kentucky that grows the soybeans for our naturally fermented, small-batch soy sauce, to the grower in Eastern Kentucky that harvests the sorghum we use as a sweetener, we have a hands-on approach that requires us to search for the best the state has to offer and develop relationships with the farmers that get great satisfaction seeing their crops grow from the seed to the shelf. BarrelHouse Brewing Co. co-owners Jason Carvalho and Kevin Nickell were joined in 2013 by longtime friend Chris Vaughn who had been brewing with the team since their early recipe development stages in Carvalho’s garage. Since then their team of craftsman has rapidly grown to include Brewmaster George Numair, Brewer/Cellarmaster Gavin Warnock, Brewer/Cellarman Ryan Fagen, and more. Paired with an endless lineup of energetic bands and fun events, BarrelHouse is famously known for their delicious line-up of year-round beers: BarrelHouse Standard Ale, Strawberry Daze, Sunny Daze, BarrelHouse Mango IPA, BarrelHouse IPA, Big Sur, and BarrelHouse Stout. All of these beers are available in bottles and draft throughout their California Distribution network. Additionally, since the brewhouse first fired up, BarrelHouse Brewing Co. has been masterfully crafting an impressive line-up of sour and non-sour barrel-aged beers. Housed within their dedicated Barrel Facility, you'll find rare sour and wild ales referred to as Salvaje de Robles (Wild of the Oak) beers and Reservado de Robles (Reserve of the Oak) or their non-sour barrel-aged beers. The "de Robles" series of beers is the canvas for BarrelHouse's brewing artists. These limited releases are only available to select accounts throughout their network. Golden Barrel Products/Zook Ag. Products was founded in 1934 by M. Simon Zook filling a need for farmers to feed their livestock with quality molasses. In 1980, Good Food, Inc. was started as a human food division and currently produces retail and industrial size syrups, sugars, molasses, cooking oils, and dry mixes. Good Food, Inc. specializes in custom blending, private labeling, warehousing, and transportation. L&S Sweeteners, another division of Zook Molasses Company, was started in 1985 to serve the expanding needs of the sweeteners market and it’s sister company, Good Food Inc. Since then, L&S Sweeteners has become one of the Northeast’s largest processing facilities of bulk sweeteners.
