Davis in 2005 with the purchase of two FM stations in Williamsburg, Virginia. The company launched the digital newspaper Williamsburg-Yorktown Daily (wydaily.com) in June of 2008, combining the best assets of both radio and the newspaper industry under one platform. Their proprietary model for a radio/digital platform was the beginning of Local Voice.
