The National Lottery Community Fund has a critical role to play in supporting communities to unleash their energy and potential so they can get to where they want to be. We are one of 12 distributors of National Lottery funding.
We work closely with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the license holder for The National Lottery, currently Allwyn, to distribute National Lottery funding across the UK.
Social connections and community activities are at the heart of creating healthier, happier lives and a flourishing society. That’s why The National Lottery Community Fund supports amazing community-led projects, and why we’re looking to make a bigger difference in the years ahead, by listening and responding to communities and by focusing on supporting bolder change.
Thanks to National Lottery players, we plan to distribute at least £4 billion of funding by 2030. Supporting projects that will create resilient communities that are more inclusive and environmentally sustainable. Projects that will strengthen society and improve lives across the UK.
Our work is divided into five portfolios, covering funding across England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and the UK. Each of these portfolios has its own committee of non-executives making major funding decisions via three funding streams: small grants under £20,000, larger grants of over £20,001 and partnership grants that support organisations to collaborate and innovate.

The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed. We help young people aged 11-30 develop the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.
The youth charity was founded by His Majesty The King in 1976 when he was HRH The Prince Of Wales. Since then it has helped more than 1,000,000 young people.
Three in four young people on Prince’s Trust courses move into work, education or training.
If you're a young person, or want to enquire on behalf of a young person, call us free on 0800 842 842 or Live Chat here > www.princes-trust.org.uk.
We're open from 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
Resonance is a social impact property fund manager and a proud B Corp. We create and manage innovative social impact investment funds that deliver financial and targeted social impact.
We provide life-changing housing solutions for people experiencing crisis through our eight residential Property Funds, offering safe, affordable homes with wraparound support through partnerships with our expert housing providers.
These funds enable individuals and families to transition out of homelessness into safe, supportive housing. Six of our funds support people facing housing crisis, including our Resonance Housing Pathways Fund, that we launched in July 2026, our first open-ended residential property fund. Building on more than a decade of experience, it aims to unlock up to £700 million of investment to provide affordable homes for people facing homelessness across the UK.
In addition, we also manage two specialist property funds: the Women in Safe Homes Fund, supporting women facing housing exclusion due to domestic abuse or leaving the criminal justice system without a home to go to; and the Resonance Supported Homes Fund, which provides long-term housing solutions for individuals with learning disabilities and autistic people.
Since 2013, our property funds have provided homes for c,5,000 people in 1,350 homes across the UK.
Founded in 2002, we now manage c£440m across 12 impact investment funds, including:
Property Funds – Scaling access to housing for vulnerable groups, particularly those with learning disabilities, women escaping domestic abuse and people experiencing homelessness.
Impact Labs – We innovate and provide tailored investment to social enterprises tackling poverty in the communities they serve. We also support community-led organisations to develop and own local assets—helping to revitalise neighbourhoods, build local resilience, and create long-term social value.
