Local Serves App - Focused on Cypress, TX! What is Local Serves All About? Local Serves is a mobile application that was developed to showcase a variety of food dishes from local food establishments (Local Restaurants, Food Trucks, and Independent Chefs) in pictorial format. Customers in turn are able to view the images of the dishes with the details about the dish such as the ingredients, description of the dish, individual reviews of each dish, and more. Why We Developed Local Serves: Food Establishments did not have a user friendly platform that offers them the ability to upload searchable, organized pictorial menus of their food items for a better presentation of their offerings, enhanced marketability, and increased customer acquisition/retention. Thereby in turn, customers found it challenging and very time consuming when researching their dining options as there was no centralized location that houses searchable pictorial menus from various food establishments that includes the image and additional details such as the ingredients, description of the dish, individual reviews of the dish, and more.
