L.O.C.A.L. Adventures Information

L.O.C.A.L. Adventures is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing in-school, after-school, and summer camp programming for youth, helping them discover activities that bring them joy. Our programs focus on three core pillars: building inner toolkits through yoga and meditation, fostering a deep connection with nature through outdoor education and adventure, and inspiring creativity through visual arts and mixed media. By integrating movement, meditation, art, and nature immersion, we provide students with invaluable tools to cultivate resilience, creativity and presence. Our programs have positively impacted hundreds of students and numerous organizations including Peter Paul Development Center, Anna Julia Cooper School, Boys and Girls Clubs, and various RPS middle schools through NextUp RVA. We also offer community wellness events for youth, families and educators.
