California Professional Firefighters represents over 38,000 career firefighters across the state. CPF is dedicated to building a better life for California firefighters and their families by advocating for a secure work environment, safety on the job, quality health care and retirement security. Through political and legislative actions, CPF has safeguarded firefighters’ rights on the job and expanded protections, making it one of the strongest public employee organizations in the state.

The Uniformed Firefighters Association of NYC is the labor union which represents about 9,000 active NYC/FDNY Firefighters (and as many as 25,000 members overall, including retired NYC Firefighters). Our Mission The objectives of the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) are to: * Protect the rights of UFA members * Obtain better and safer working conditions * Secure adequate remuneration * Obtain the equitable resolution of grievances * Cultivate fellowship among its members * Foster the finest traditions of American citizenship
