Locaerise Information

We bring the village back to education. LocaeRise is the multi‑award‑winning home of One Big Change™. We're building the UK's first platform that brings together schools, experts, businesses, and communities to create lasting change – because we believe change is bottom‑up, not top‑down. It comes from classrooms, staffrooms, and communities, where people actually know what needs fixing. Every school has one big challenge the one thing that, if solved, unlocks everything else. We help them find it, solve it, and fund it. Through our expert-led OBC Programmes, we connect schools to proven experts, relevant sponsors, university partners, and CPD bodies. We co-create them solutions with experts, with schools, for schools. Our ecosystem brings the village to life through LocaeAwards, celebrating the lights of our village; LocaeFest, our annual gathering where educators learn under the trees; LocaeHubs, physical spaces where Expert Cohorts meet year-round; LocaeRise Match, connecting schools with local experts and suppliers; and One Big Change, the Expert Programme where it all begins. Behind every programme sits School Backed Commerce, our purpose-driven funding engine that embeds money for schools into everyday purchasing, banking roundups, and social value partnerships so schools access expert support without budget barriers. We're currently piloting with twenty‑five schools and building regional Hubs where pilot schools become leaders of peer learning and sustained improvement. LocaeRise has been recognised as Start‑Up of the Year twice, and named a finalist for Best European Startup and Fastest Upcoming European Female Startup Leader. But the recognition we value most is the school leader who says "that actually helped", the child who feels seen, the community that starts to feel like a village again. Because the village doesn't build itself. We build it. Together. LocaeRise: The Home of One Big Change™ Website: www.locaerise.com
