LLDS is a design and architectural practice that extends design and craft sensibility through digital technologies. Established in 2012, we are a group of architects, designers, researchers, technologists, and makers led by David Leggett and Paul Loh; both are architects registered in Australia and the UK, respectively. The practice operates on the scale of the city, building, interior, and furniture. Our works have been exhibited and received awards in Australia and the UK. Our research in material practice has been published in international journals and discussed at international forums. We make new tools for robotic fabrication, including a patent technology that reduces waste in concrete panel fabrication. LLDS offers architectural services specialising in complex projects, installation and interior. Our in-house workshop, Power to Make, offers digital fabricating services for designers, architects and artists through collaboration, consultation and access to our 3-axis CNC router, robotic arm and workshop. In addition, we offer design and fabrication services for one-off projects. We have both design and manufacturing capacity to produce architecture scale pieces from interior fit-out to discrete architectural components.
