LIW planning creates contemporary, sustainable, strong and perceptual urban spaces, landscapes and environments. Through a strongly contextual approach to landscape, cities and architecture we create integrated solutions for climate, environment, culture and social related challenges, integrating the practical and technical aspects in the aesthetic and artistic expression. We create surprising, moving, motivating and engaging physical environments, making a difference being both architecturally strong and locally grounded. We are architects, planners and landscape architects, operating in the space between architecture, planning, landscape and urban environments. We work interdisciplinary at all scales from the single urban space to large-scale development and planning in both urban and rural contexts. Our approach is characterized by a detailed reading of place and context, combined with precise interpretations of the site and an undogmatic approach.
